Stainless Steel Balustrade – End Post

Provide an elegant end point for your deck, patio or garden’s modular glass and stainless steel balustrade. This contemporary, easy to install end post is 42.4mm in diameter and is suppled predrilled with holes for 2 glass clamps and bolts, which are also included. The tubular end post has a circular base plate and measures 1100mm high; glass clamps measure L65mm x W44mm x D27mm. Designed for added corrosion resistance, the exterior grade 316 stainless steel contains 2% molybdenum for improved corrosion and has an ultra-smooth and contemporary 400 grit brushed satin finish. While 316 stainless steel is renowned for its corrosion resistance, it is not immune to the potentially corrosive effects of exposure to salt, particularly in coastal areas. While it may provide enhanced protection compared to 304 stainless steel, the relentless presence of salt in sea air and its corrosive nature can still impact the material. Therefore, we do not recommend installing 316 stainless steel balustrade railings within a 10 mile proximity to the sea.
